The output transformer is near the center of the chassis toward the rear. The power transformer is in the front right-hand corner. Yes, the output transformer is larger than the power transformer! It's serious overkill for this amp, but it sure sounds good. I spray-painted the chassis blue, just for fun. It's a 16" x 8" x 3" aluminum chassis from Hammond Mfg.
